What are you doing May 5th and 6th? Cancel it and go to the Toronto Comic Arts Festival instead. It is one of my favorite shows and there will be so many great people and comics that it’s just not possible to see them all. I will be there on the second floor with TopatoCo. Come see me, Canada!

Remember! I will be in the city of Frasier the last weekend of March for Emerald City Comic Con. Find me with TopatoCo at booths 202/203. I will sign things and sketch in books, even if you don’t want me to. Even if they’re not my books. Guard your things, lest they be signed by me. This is my first time on the West Coast so come say hi and make it worth the trip!

Squishes and MIXes

Hello! Happy November. I know it’s been kind of quiet comics-wise around here. I have been moving into a new place which doesn’t have internet yet and doing various work and feeling just generally overwhelmed by everything. Hopefully by next week I can get back on the horse, the horse named comics.

But for now here are a couple of items: This weekend (November 5-6) I will be in Minneapolis at the Minneapolis Indie Xpo. Admission is free! If you are nearby you should come and check it out.

Last week, a fluffy cloud fell down from the sky and it was full of Beartato Squishables. These things are huge and, true to their name, very squishable. This would make a great holiday gift for someone you like, or a mysterious warning for someone you hate. I also have other stuff available at TopatoCo that would perhaps suit you better? I don’t know, you are fairly inscrutable to me.

This weekend, September 10 & 11, I will be at one of my favorite shows, the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, Maryland. I will be there as part of TopatoCo’s comics empire and we will be debuting my new book, Beartato and the Incredible Event. It’s got comics in it, and jokes. Maybe you’d like a copy? Then come and have some fun at SPX!

EDIT: The book should also be available through TopatoCo starting this Friday, Sept. 9. In addition, if you order in the first few days you will have the option of getting it personalized. I will drive up to TopatoCo HQ after SPX and draw in your book and maybe hug it a little? Hugs not guaranteed.

Hello! This weekend (May 7-8) I will be at the Toronto Comics and Arts Festival in the Toronto Reference Library (in Toronto). Look for me at table 218! That’s on the second floor. Oh and did I mention admission to TCAF is free? This will be my first time at the show, but I have heard nothing but good things about it, and most of my favorite people will be there. If you are in or near Toronto, you would be a fool not to check it out. Don’t be a fool! Be a smarty brain instead. Toronto!
